Good Supervision Matters is a response to real needs in the field of professional supervision.
Professional Pastoral Supervision
Professional supervision for pastoral ministry has recently become mandated and is a growing area of focus. Clergy, pastors, spiritual care practitioners, and religious leaders need to be supported through professional supervision.
The supervision focus serves the ministry context and provides a safe holding space for reflection. There is space for discernment, insight, clarity of purpose, and fostering inner freedom.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision supports people working in the health field. The supervision focus is the service of the clients.
Supervisees and supervisors explore the experience of the client, options for intervention, the practitioner and client relationship, systems in which the client is engaged and impacted, the practitioner’s experience of the work, and their well-being in the course of their role.
Organisational Supervision
Organisational supervision supports leadership in education and businesses. Areas of focus may include work planning and management, organisational culture, staff management, relationships, self management, work-life balance, ethics, and decision making.
Leadership challenges are often complex and unique. An outside perspective can be useful to reflect and track the trajectory of work and the responsibilities associated with a role.
