  • Joan Wright Howie

    Joan Wright Howie

    Joan alongside her supervision practice, Joan is a PhD candidate. She is in her final year writing up her research about the nature of spiritually informed care. Joan is a Uniting Church minister, spiritual director and professional supervisor with 30-year experience in ministry and chaplaincy, NGO, project and educational contexts. She is the President of the Australian Association of Supervisor’s (AAOS) Board of Directors.

  • Julie McDonald

    Julie McDonald

    Julie trained in supervision with the Bouverie Centre and Gestalt Centre. She is a professional arts therapist having attained her masters from the Melbourne Institute of Experiential and Creative Arts Therapy (MIECAT). Her expertise is grounded in trauma informed practice. She has worked in community mental health sector and faith-based spiritual care. She is currently a member of the counseling supervision team at Doncare Community Support and Counseling.

Advisory Group

Randolph has a background in counselling, management consulting and large not-for-profit organisations. As part of the advisory group to Good Supervision Matters he provides ongoing support to their activities. Randolph worked for Lifeline providing crisis counselling services and loves supporting this group of dedicated supervision practitioners, being acutely aware from his own counselling experiences how good quality supervision is fundamental to 'helping professionals', and ultimately, the provision of effective and practical outcomes for clients.

Geoff Broughton

Geoff is an Australian pioneer in the field of Pastoral Supervision training with thirty years of ministry experience within the Anglican Church. 
Geoff is the Associate Professor in Practical Theology, at Charles Sturt University, the Principal of Pastoral Supervision Australia and an Associate of The Institute of Pastoral Supervision and Reflective Practice. 
Geoff also serves as Vice President on the board of  the Australasian Association of Supervision (AAOS).
